Brief description
Treatment stratification for patients with cancer require detection of a wide range of genomic alterations. Comprehensive genomic profiling panels such TSO500 can simultaneously detect small nucleotide variants, copy number changes, fusions, microsatellite instability and tumor mutation burden. This presentation will review the clinical implementation of the TSO500 panel for genomic profiling of tumors and review interesting cases obtained thus far.

Dr. Sabatini is a dual certified (molecular and cytogenetics) Clinical Laboratory Geneticist at the University Health Network in Toronto, Ontario. His work specializes in improving genomic testing for cancers within clinical diagnostic laboratories. He received his CCMG training from the Hospital for Sick Children and also completed a post-doctoral fellowship with Luminex Molecular Diagnostics.
