Title: A Clinician’s Guide to Preimplantation Genetic Testing
We aim to introduce the concepts of preimplantation genetic testing, including for aneuploidy, structural rearrangements, and monogenic disorders. We will outline potential benefits, limitations, and risks associated with preimplantation genetic testing and demonstrate clinical utility through case examples.
Learning objectives:
- Identify the potential benefits and limitations of preimplantation genetic testing technology.
- Distinguish between the types of preimplantation genetic testing and eligibility criteria for each.
- Consider patient populations who would benefit from preimplantation genetic testing to integrate into clinical practice.
